Same **** as in the original Destiny. The guy rushing with a shotgun or a fusion rifle is going to beat the sniper 9 times out of 10. Lol the ****ing melee weapons have like "aim assist" as they'll just pull you in towards enemies and one-shot them before they can shoot you dead. |

I knew AJoes review wouldn't say anything about the PVP. He's self admittedly terrible at FPS games, and destiny 2's pvp is built around making bad players seem good at the game and ruining any potential to do well for solo players. I mean the game counts assists as kills like? You can literally go a whole game, not get a single 'actual' kill and instead just get 20 'assists' and the end scoreboard will say you got 20 kills. K/D means nothing about your skill level in this game, in the BETA the game used to have a mercy rule where the game would end if one team was losing by too much just so they don't feel bad about themselves. So annoying seeing people defend the new PVP mode saying it's "tactical" now. Getting shot at for 5 seconds only to run away to your team and have 3 people team shot you to death when in any other FPS game that person would have been killed 3 times in that space is not tactical it's just bad gameplay mechanics. Destiny 2 PVP summed up: Lag, Assists, Teamshot, Running away, Camping, Time limit ending before the game scores even reached |

Halo is not the same as destiny, the comparison is only made because of bungie. Halo had a faster time to kill than destiny by about 1/3. Halo had no special abilities, or sprint if we are talking halo 3. That means if you were shot at you had to rely on your ability to kill the other person first or accept death whilst in destiny 2 you can just sprint/ jetpack away back to your team (you also have more abilities/ options/ health to do so). Halo/ overwatch have bigger maps, with special weapons and vehicles (in halo) placed in specific areas of the map which spread players across the map so they weren't bunched together. If you think what I described sounds like Overwatch then there is the problem. This game isn't overwatch, it's destiny 2. The fact that the pvp aspect of the game is vastly different to destiny 1 is why it is a problem. It would be the equivalent of overwatch coming out with overwatch 2 and completely removing all the mechanics they had besides the characters and weapons and giving the game COD gameplay mechanics (with overwatch heroes being specialist like in black ops 3). |
