I recently purchased a cheap 58mm f2 lens that has swirly bokeh ($30) it's called helios 44-2 and I love it. It has an M mount so you'll need an adapter but the results are fantastic.

From yesterday. really happy how this turned out.


For anyone interested I just picked up a full manual SLR 35mm film camera. Ricoh XR-1 with a f/2.0 50mm lens. Still got like 20 more photos to take before i get it processed. Kinda nervous because every other film camera ive used in the past week has ****ed up so fingers crossed lmao. The exposure counter doesnt work so just going to have to wing it :o

My main digital camera atm is still the Panasonic G7. I did end up getting the 42.5mm 1.7. I love it so much. Gets that nice short DOF look and ive noticed the images turn out much more sharper.
