I haven't done much since starting college, so I decided to give pixelart a fresh start. I will start taking more risks and move out of my comfort zone because that is what I think really hindered me from improving as fast I used to. I'm also enrolled for a drawing class next semester! It should be a relief...

I've been working on this for the past two weeks really slowly. I plan to have it animated in the end.

I'm calling this done for now. I will animate it one day.
It represents the shift in perspective towards life I've attained after a variety of incidents that I've experienced in the past two years. If you can decipher any meaning within it, I'd love to hear it!  

I felt inspired after a long time of not doing much related to art. It is a quick piece I made after reading into color theory. I've never understood how I choose colors, so I'm trying to be more aware of the process, rather than going off of intuition.

 

I just finished my university finals, so I've had a bit of time to work on this. It's not complete just yet because I need work on the background heavily.
It feels good to get back into art!

That looks wicked Motrox, glad to see you making art again man! So, just an idea.. But I think it'd look really cool if you take the streams of light coming from the eye, and somehow integrate it to seem as if the sun above is radiating heat waves and mesh them together with the rays coming from the eyes, as if the sun and the crows eye are one in the same, if that makes any sense? IDK, it's just an idea Ofc I just personally think it would add alot to the piece.

Even if you decide to do your own thing I'm sure it'll look great. Can't wait to see the finished piece!
