what are you talking about

Light Ball doubles attack and special attack, to the point where pikachu's level 100 attack stat is more than Haxorus. it's not reliant on Light Ball, it's simply its signature item and the only reason to use Pikachu. Pikachu's so good because of this because it isn't even LC, it's in the same tier as Raichu.

The only reason to ever use Raichu over Pikachu is if you want more bulk.

Really? I used a Raichu in Gen4 and beat a Rhyperior. No EV training.

Here, I have an idea: to better understand the original intent of the author, let's try linking the two clauses with a transitional phrase!

but I feel like making an XY OU team using an offense-centric format. I will list the roles I need, and you guys list Pokemon (can be any tier except Ubers and LC) that fulfill that role and if they (even remotely) fit the team, I'll add it and name the Pokemon after you

Dedicated Lead (can be suicide or offensive, Deoxys-S/Greninja respectively):
Physical Sweeper (Terrakion, Haxorus, Garchomp, etc):
Revenge Killer (TFlame, Scizor, etc.):
Special Sweeper (Alakazam, Keldeo, etc.):
Bulky Attacker (Tyranitar, Rotom, etc.):
Open Role (can be a wall, Baton Passer, whatever):
