Make sure to spent a minimum of $2120 on champ skins, boosts, everything else. That's how you start. Hue. ;)  

Start off with Bots, then move up to PvP as you progress and feel you have developed some form of skill and sense of the game mechanics.

too time consuming, too addicting, money-stealing (queue the elitist "ive never spent a dime on this game"), not really worth the time in the long run

completely regret even starting MOBAs, would never do it over again

but if they're your jam then go for it I guess.

I've never spent a dime on this game, but I have spent nearly 5000 dimes on it.

welp :| it was a nice thought

idk I had a good time when I was playing it before, like first 1000 games

it's really hella fun and addicting and feels satisfying but also ****ty when you play ranked heavily

then I realize I've played like 3000 league games * 30 min/game = 1500 hours game time and spent **** tons of money on it and it's really not worth the investment when there are better games for cheaper or even free, and not as addicting

well I guess everyone here has logged like 5000 hours on graal and spent tons of money too so whatever  

who cares where your time goes, time isn't endless so why not enjoy something while you can?

Step 2: Open DotA
Step 3: Play DotA  

well I get horrible luck, go 4-0-13 as lee sin, secure every dragon, still lose because our top laner feeds nasus.

Got pissed and decided to troll in normals after. Here is the result:

Ok played 1 more ranked game after that and it was a 4v5, so I uninstalled

LoL has a much easier skill curve but getting good at LoL won't make you good at the other Dota clones so be careful.

My question is when you play ranked, what are your expectations and goals?

I just wanted to hit plat but my luck sucks. I don't have the patience you have to spam hundreds of games just to go up a tier. You eventually broke through after hundreds of games swaying back and forth between plat I and plat IV, I don't have that kind of time. I have a job and college.

Or you could just get better. RMM isn't luck.

I only managed that many games because my only games are League, and Destiny. I don't play normals either so.
