My concept is a the Chinese word for heart which is 心 and I just wondering how it looks so far possibly get some tips cause I am god awful with doing art lol. Thanks in advance for the tips.

The word is written pretty well, but I don't believe it would make a good state by itself. Try and find a creative way to present the word

Here's a bit of an update on what I've got done so far.

Looks pretty good but try and make the second frame look different to the first instead of just having a recolor.

I was planning to make the damaged state like with blood coming from the 心, wasn't just gonna cut it in half and leave it there, unless you are also talking about presenting the word in general a bit more. Also not really sure if my shading lol.

I'm not talking about the damaged state. Like put the word "heart" on an object or something imo. Your shading is fine

Haha thanks for the advice I just get worried about doing pillow shading lol. Guess I will have to experiment to see how to make it pop out more like you suggested!  

Question: are you allowed so submit multiple recolors of a same state?
