Really? The first time I rushed behind them was the only round we won against Alumni in GST. And no one agreed with your defense only strategy next season. You're not always right.
Also, no one on Blackout agreed with your defense only strategy the GST after that. You're not always right. |

31:00, 1st round you went 9-6. Go to 32:16, 2nd round you tried rushing "behind enemy", etc and got went 1-6. You left your team in a 4v5 situation and they got bodied. Less people to form a wall. 3rd round you went 1-6 again. You stayed back a little in the beginning, because you were probably afraid of dying fast like the 2nd round, but ended up doing the same thing... Results: 11-18 Rushing just doesn't always work, baiting is what works. Baiting = force enemy to push and then have another teammate body them. Rushing works better without the lag, but once it's gst all you're gonna do is put your team in a 4v5.
If you don't know what you are talking about, then don't bark. I don't blame others, in fact first round in Fall gst against alumni we lost, because I ended up rushing/wasn't used to the gst lag.

You shouldn't put your teammates on blast here of all places. I don't know why you're complaining about your own team on the forum.

You're pretty high and mighty for someone who doesn't have someone following them around taking screenshots. I'm glad you've never said anything bad about anyone, except for just now when you just did.

Who cares who said what about who, just words with a dash of emotion and salt. Idc who thinks I'm good or bad, I am of enough sound mind and self awareness to know how I preformed. This season was my worst and I was the heavy teammate but nothing I can do about that, it's the past I'm not worried.

won 3 GSTs with US and became the most desired idevice guildsparrer (true whether you like it or not) being a suicide bomber and rushing in, inflicting massive damage and dying quickly. shut up aguzo, you really don't know what you're talking about.

after watching so many GSTs its hit or miss. Ive seen comyt WRECK people like he says, I've also seen comyt's rush stat get him wrecked. I've seen Defensive strats work like aguzo suggests. But as GST history has shown, teams with the ability to dominate together usually win. US idevice had comyt and eddy who both got massive amount of hits together. Then Us device had NiTe who was very clutch, and generally found ways to stay alive when he needed to. Then Kouji who was at the time an aggressive defensive sparrer who would do a very good job at team work. Then vlad who.... whatever vlad was the weak link imo, but he did a good job and made sure to keep himself from messing up. He generally used corners and walls. which might have helped US? US PC Dominated thanks to a combination of great PC players like david, ares(Rashard), praydoh, highlander(maybe? don't remember if he was in gst) eventually thallen and etc, US pc in my opinion only dominated Early on due to lack of PC competition AND the fact they had such great line ups. But anyways back to Aguzo vs clops US also dominated NOT DEFENSIVELY (probably because most teams in 2012 were ez) Alumni PC Alumni PC will dominate people with sparers like david. Then they will draw people using Mk who is just a smart sparrer. Then Thallen and colossus are all around consistent in all uses, Dominating offensively and defensively if they have to. Then Eko is strong at staying alive and being defensive. Sarahs idev delay teams These teams are so hard because of their pure brute defense and obvious delay. Aguzo vs Clops You both made good points in my opinion. But looking at History, Whether you have a defensive or offensive team, you just need to have players who can effectively group around the other team and dominate them like past and current successful teams have done. AND theres all sorts of side tactics which are hit or miss like +running to the other side and causing confusion(clops) - can work great ( confusion allows your team to take the upper hand) -can get you wreck(they can all corner wreck you or wall wreck you) +like being a suicidial offensive wrecking machine taking on multiple people (comyt) -can work great ( you can get 10-16 or whatevr hits and die giving your team a head start on hits) -can get you wrecked (you can under estimate the teamwork skill of other team and get killed quickly doing little damage) -can work and still fail (you can get 6-10 hits which SEEMS good, but then if you die and leave it 4v5 in the start, the other team has more people to dominate with) +baiting the other team, being generally defensive, and staying alive(aguzo) -if done properly by the whole team using teamwork it will work. -unless the team you are facing is dominant enough to wreck you while your wasting time being defensive and baiting. |
