I still want to see the 10,000,000+ damage Rollout from Shuckle in-game.

You need him to be lvl 100 with his attack maxed out, he has to be full on attack from a buff move in a triple battle with both pokemon using helping hand on the 5th turn using rollout. Maybe a bit more soecifics but thats the general requirements for it.

Omg Talon stop the competitive ****. Just please, please play it without those rules for once...no need to go in depth..just basic rules to suffice. -STAB -Weather -Physical Special Split -Stat boosting moves. No need for nature, EVs, IVs, or anything. |

Not everyone plays casually, Cobalt. May try all that fancy stuff when I start playing X again. |

It's not "competitive ****", its seeing the game from a logical standpoint in the views of a competitive player. If a world renowned chess grandmaster were to share his insight on an amateur match, would it be a professional, competitive match? Of course not. It's the same game, it's a different way of seeing or playing the game. Natures are a part of the game. Stat boosts are a part of the game. EVs have been made easily trackable and accessable with this generation, which, by some outlandish and idealized casual ruleset, is now not an 'elitist' or 'competitive' aspect of the game. Everyone can EV train easily. The same goes for natures: they're easily attainable with some time in game, and the game explicitly tells you the effects of each nature. Even so, they're very insignificant as a whole. If I were to say 31/31/31... IVs, then sure, then I would be getting into the uncontrollable, "advanced" mechanics of the game, but... I did not mention IVs at all. I'm simply saying how a Pokemon can demolish any AI team due to how undeniably easy this game is. Here, would this be easier to understand? Volcarona, give him the item Leftovers Max HP training, Max Special Defense training - Quiver Dance (wow so speed very damage) - Bug Buzz (this is STAB = wtf even more damage???) - Fiery Dance (more STAB! good damage!) - Roost (gotta love HP, #1) Because of my sweet defensive training, I can survive one Water-type move, get damage, speed, and defense boosts on that same turn (wtf!! op!!!) and then sweepwreck noob water types with STAB Bug Buzz since Water doesn't resist bug! Thanks to Quiver Dance (wow much strong), I am now faster and go before every pocketman ever and one-shot kill because Volcarona + STAB = wtf so damage!! GG WIn!! I used the same exact logic, without the "competitive ****" I threw in to the first post. Answer this for me: what differentiates a competitive battle from a casual battle between players? Is it the tier list? The banning of certain obscure items or abilities that no one has used or heard of? Maybe the mechanics have changed? Well, they haven't. The mechanics in a "competitive battle" and a "basic battle" aren't different at all, except for the usage of non-held items in some WiFi battles. There's nothing wrong with me looking at the same exact game you're playing from a different standpoint.

I can still play well yet I don't even train any stats, EVs, or anything. I find it too time consuming to gain one stat, or even grind to get a good nature. Whatever floats your boat if you have to get all scientific. I just find having a ones of moves and no items or stat boost support is more fun and challenging. The game is too easy. I only had trouble on Gym 3. The AI on Hawlucha is crazy. Yay. Grammar. |
