The next time we hire we might not be releasing applications. We're playing with the idea of having a screening process to find out who's good for the job before getting them to apply.

I'm not one to voice my opinion but in general applications for online games can be misleading as the users can 'lie' about their age. NYN went into further detail on this subject on his Facebook wall and the result of that issue concluded with him hiring in a different fashion as to fellow GP Admins. This method worked by short listing possible users for the job on the basis of how they respond and react to others across the Internet and on the various servers and if interested they would then begin an interview with the possible candidate. Having an alternative hiring approach may make the process easier to find the deserving players. This may be not be my call as I don't know of any previous problems with appointing PRs on iEra but if this technique works for other servers I'm sure it could help the hiring team here. The proposed screening process is just an idea as Reno said but it may be a better alternative for hiring than the original application for the position |

Yes, screening process, like in the Windex commercials. Players have a window placed in front of them that has very recently been cleaned, on the other side is a NPC of SNK saying, "Grab me to become and ADIAM ". If you run into the window, you fail the screening process.
