The cafe incident was actually global news. I don't remember hearing about the Melbourne incident, though. But there's so many of these attacks that it's hard to keep all of them straight.  

Another reason why people see islam negatively is because of them forcing their religious beliefs in another country. I mean, they're refugees, right? Why can't they be grateful for the things they're getting? Some are even complaining for not getting a job once they arrived there! You can't blame employers for being afraid of employing you since you're a refugee. Shouldn't employers prioritize their own kind first? What about nationalism? Shouldn't you care about your kin first before other races? I'm not being racist but that's what you call nationalism. Did you guys hear about the largest march in Poland where Polish people rallied against the government's prioritization of immigrants over their own people? I don't know why people are so blind of the truth that some refugees would rather complain than be thankful for being able to leave their war-torn country. Countless people from our own nations have nothing to eat and then the government would care more about people who aren't even citizens of their country?

There are also people who criticizes a government for 'not helping refugees out'. Don't they know that taxpayers' money should go to their nation first? Again, I'm not against the government allowing people to take asylum in our countries but please don't complain. You're just refugees. Then there are those governments who cares about refugees because they want global recognition. These are the reasons why people doesn't want muslims in their country, especially Christians. Their governments would rather give houses to muslim refugees than their homeless citizens.

Just my opinion. Don't be so dumb to think I'm against muslims.

My bad, not sure if the car incident was an act of terrorism or just someone who lost the plot... Regardless, it would be a relief if my country wasn't pushing for a fast tracked asylum seeker process, especially considering the increase of terrorist attacks in recent years. I'd rather those illegally migrating to spend years on the off shore detention centre islands in order to be properly processed. Whats to stop terrorists from masquerading as innocent war victims?

Back in the 30s,40s,50s and 60s the attitude towards immigration was much different

They were awfully grateful for being accepted and italian immigrants which my family comes from wore suits all the time in order to look as prestine as possible in order to be taken seriously by employers.

Eastern europeans,jews and italians did not complain about inequality but rather tried to adapt to their environment and take in new values and compete against the already existing population.

Nowadays the media has changed this attitude alot

Free housing is nice but thats taking tax payers dollars into not helping them aswell as the fact that it would mean refugees would get better treatment than american war veterans.

Finding jobs is hard for everyone despite color you shouldn't travel somewhere and demand laws that prioritize your race when it comes to hiring.
Some of these western european countries are doing terribly with immigrants as few of them are actualy taking up western values but are rather just trying to spread their ideology.
I have many muslim friends I am educated enough to know that not all of them are terrorists however I think this whole mass immigration is a bad idea and I hope it doesn't spread to eastern europe as they have a lot of different problems that don't need to be added to.

Things would probably be better if they just adapted to our values and laws instead of blowing us up in our own cities .It's no wonder people want them out of our country.  

Mass immigration is always a bad idea. But as Western countries, we are able to do more to help them. We can set up camps/housing for them in their countries for those that lost their homes and have no where to go. A lot of them don't actually want to leave because that's their home, their livelihood. But they need to be safer and have somewhere to live and be taken care of. We can do more and set them up in areas under coalition control to provide them safe housing, food, and water. We don't have to let every Syrian resident into America and other countries to help them.  

I understand that some refugees are disgraceful for what they get, in-fact they will keep asking for more money no matter how much the government gives them. This is pretty normal because there is three types of Islam refugees in my opinion.
The first type is people who pretends to be muslim, and create a fake arabic passport to persuade the British government to accept them as refugees, when they are not even arabic and their country conditions are most likely fine. This is probably the most disgraceful type pf refugees because, they never actually suffered so, in their dictionary there is no need to be grateful since the government didn't really save them from anything harmful.
Second type of refugees are the people who paid thousands of money to enter the UK illegally when they originally have a fine home and enough money to help them live. Those kind of people won't bs as grateful because again they didn't suffer a lot in their country.
The third types of refugees are the ones who has: no home, no food, no money, and nowhere safe live in. Syrians are an example of this type of refugees, those kind of people appreciate everything the government gives them because it will always be better than what their country provided them.
I don't think the British government should stop opening their borders to refugees or reduce the amount of money they give to them but, they need to select the type of refugees who needs help the most. Probably more than half of our current refugees still have a safe home to live in if they go back to their countries. In-fact the government should provide extra support to the refugees! Humans are supposed to help each others. However, they need to figure out who are the actual refugees who needs help and who are the ones just making up lies.

Perhaps. In Germany literally everyone has a right to be on walfare - yet I still see a lot of homeless people.

Wastemen whatever. They're already getting houses from the people's taxes. They should be grateful and be civil as possible during job interviews and not, "Please I need this job. We don't have anything to eat. I beg you. Give me this job" kind of things.

You're either not from America, which would explain this comment. Or you are American, in which case you don't understand America. In America, if they reside on American soil legally, which refugees would, then they are our own. They aren't their own. We don't prioritize. It would be illegal to prioritize Americans based on anything other than their merit. America is a boiling pot. All for one and one for all. There is no "us" and "them" in America.

Yea, but it's more complicated than that. As human beings, shouldn't we care about the human race in general? People will always put themselves before others, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't protect others. We live in a world, not a bubble. There's many countries besides ourselves that we have to work with, trade with, get along with, etc. So you have to weigh the costs and the benefits of helping out or bringing in refugees from other countries. I'm not commenting on what's right or wrong in this topic, just that neither side should be dismissed.

Say what you think. You have freedom of speech for a reason. They can't (or shouldn't) penalize you because you have a viewpoint that differs from your teacher. Just be respectful about your viewpoint and others and your teacher should do the same. If not, you could always complain and report your teacher since public schools can't penalize you based on your viewpoint.

The argument is ridiculous..

Blame George bush for terrorism.

If he didn't order soldiers to kill saddam, nothing would've happened.

But yes, the population of Iraq itself wanted him dead, but Americans literally "took over" the country, which means they have control of the prisons, and guess what they did to prisoners, they literally took their dogs to like make the prisoners scared.

Prisoners were naked, and the dogs were like barking at them while the idiot ass Americans laugh off their ass.

Oh and also, they murdered some prisoners, tortured some.

And it was put a stop to it when a journalist exposed it all, when the Iraqi population found out what was going on, they built like rebels to execute the Americans for what they did.

See the point? If bush wasn't so greedy for oil, ISIS would probably not exist..
