| The only thing I don't like is the leaderboard. The leaderboard is stressing me out. I could look at my candy and say, "Hey, that's a lot of candy! I'm probably gonna get a great prize!" And then when I look at the leaderboard and I see people with 2,000 more prices of candy than me, I begin to think, "Wow, I'm probably gonna get a sucky prize, and all those people with x amount of candies are probably gonna get super awesome stuff."

And as far as giving candy, it's been made clear that that number only matters in the case of the trophy. I know I'm not going to be anywhere near the top 6 (or even top 200), but I'm still giving out candy (yes, more than just the free bowl) because it's kind of a **** move to collect and not give.

 | see that? that ruins this event to a great degree. Not to say this event was really good but it was something nonetheless. I feel like their should be a script in place that can detect if the bowls of candy are atop of bushes and the what-not, so they get a decrease in "luck" when they pick a blind-bag. That's just so annoying. I also agree with the fact that this event isn't really a competition in the traditional sense - But I am rather fond of the social aspect. More events that incorporate this social aspect, like the Easter-egg hunt, or even this is really nice. At its core, Graal is a social game. Even though most of the time I'm not generally fond of socializing with graalians. I'd say that when competitions like this, or the egg hunting, that amount of socializing with others is really neat, and can make or break an event. In this case, I'd more or less say that the socializing kinda ruined this event. Why? Well lets see... 1.Example in picture, of people making others pay for candy. 2.The fact that you don't really get anything from giving candy so their isn't an incentive to give, disregarding the trophy, (you'll never get ahead of them with such a large lead.) 3.As Thallen had mentioned. The housing script that makes you wait before entering another house, thus stopping EVERYTHING and halting your progress. All and all, this event kinda ruined itself. I mean, its not super bad, but seeing the leaderboards, with all those candies, i really think that will also make the blind bags expensive, Unless you turn in all your candy for one blind bag, which seems kinda unlikely, but eh, ya never know. |

 | At least nobody takes your candy dropped from a ghost. This also gives a chance for newbs to be in the leaderboard. They don't necessary have to be good at anything. However they do need to no life candy hunting LIKE last year. |

And two, considering this event is still running very well that definitely isn't a problem, maybe if this event was a month long I could understand that, but when its about three days the event isn't really harmed by anything.

 | @ people saying its pointless to give candy: Is it pointless to focus on giving more than collecting? Yes. Is it pointless to spend gralats to keep a stocked bowl (if you can afford it)? No. If everyone decided not to pay at all and only use the free bowl, then on average everyone would have 100 candy. Most basic principle of an economy. There's nothing to take if no one is willing to give.

I enjoy giving out candy, just because it's in the spirit of the event, and I wouldn't feel right about taking without giving (especially since it's such an easy thing to do and candy bowls are only 500 gralats for 100 people). Also, I enjoyed setting up my house for it. I blocked off most of the house (because it's still a work in progress), but it was fun setting up a little area near the entrance, using some old Halloween furniture to decorate it a bit. I've seen some houses with clever decoration work as well. In regards to the people putting candy on bushes, or behind a set of bushes, so what? Like someone already said, they aren't profiting anything (they're not going to make anywhere near the amount they spend on the candy bowls), and anyone who has the nerve to put their candy behind a very long gralat maze, I don't bother wasting my time, I just move on to the next house (unless there's a spot I can exploit and bomb glitch through, which I have done many times, even just to get by a single set of bushes. God it feels good not giving them any gralats). Then there's some people who purposely put candy in an unreachable spot. Ok, maybe it's fair to have some "trickery" given that this is technically trick or treating, but again, I've managed to get to many of these bowls using bomb glitching and the like. I don't even mind spending the time to do it, I just like the challenge. I even managed to do this in the house of a well-known Graalians members (heh heh). All in all, this is fun. I didn't play during the Graaloweens with the candy ghosts, but I hear trying to collect candy was a chore, given the amount of people fighting over it. This, however, I'm enjoying. As are many people. It was a well-executed idea. We have yet to see how the gift bags are dispensed, but I'm sure it'll be a fair system that rewards what the average Graal player is able to collect (and not just the hardcore players on the top 25 list).

 | So here's my opinion the event. After a few days of this event going on, I would have to say that I didn't enjoy it quite as much as I did when we had to get candies from the ghosts. Like a few players who mentioned above, the event wasn't as fun because of the mazes. It seemed like people were more interested in gaining free money rather than giving out to the community. Around half of the maze houses that I have entered didn't even have candy but they still end up putting signs like, "Enter house for more candy" so that players could grab their bushes. I still think the idea of this event was great, but it ended up different than what I expected. I loved the idea of giving so it was nice that it got implemented into this event but like Michael said, players should at least have a bowl of candy if they want to participate. No one wants to enter houses just to farm for other players (:. It ruins the point of Halloween, which is to get caaaannndyyyyy. In the end, it might be fun to some players but I think the rest of us already know that this event wasn't as fun as the previous Halloween events. It would be nice if they could add in the ghost candies back next year so that the rest of us could enjoy finding candies through both ghosts and houses. Thanks for the great work you've brought to us though @ the staff team. #stopmazehouses
