If any guns are realeased, the should be at least that should be equal to rippers. And i think they should add some more because most guns arent even used nowadays.

Plasma Shotgun, Grass Gun, Poison Vine, Heavy Laser, Red and Green Rifle, Lightning Rifle, Watermelon Cannon, even the Flower Gun (which we considered OP in August. Funny how that gun was outclassed..)

Flower gun was OP. It wasn't out classed by anything. The 7.5 damage killed it.

No, they nerfed it accordingly. It is now a green rifle that has no tap fire and penetrates sabers. Its fine

7.5 is good for what it is. 8 is only a little higher; and everything outclassed it with Gun 3.  

I love threads like these. You all fight each other so much that the point you're trying to make gets lost. Entertaining though <3  

Well look at it this way. Most successful games that are developed has a special team of developers dedicated to balancing out the weapons and such (not saying Zone isn't successful). But one person deciding stats for guns can create some complications especially if they got a lot of work on their hands and are managing some other stuff such as ongoing projects.

Anyway my point is, it would be great to have a Guns admin or two. Now of course one of the major role that plays part in the position is scripting and a lot of us players that have been playing Zone does not know how to script. This doesn't necessarily mean you have to hired someone who played Zone, just someone who has common knowledge about weapon balancing and of course scripting.

Problem is though, can they PROPERLY balance the weapons by prices. Because all the GAs knows common weapon balancing, but when it came to balancing by price, they couldn't do jack didly **** but the exception of Meph.

NO, because its a snowball effect and then we get dumbass tiers and the only weapons you would see in competitive gameplay are the high tier guns. This making the game less noob friendly as it already is. All the weapons should be par with the photon imo.

Ok I thought this over. 2 GAs would work, one does the scripting, the other knows the gun stats and how they should be. The person in charge of the weapons stats should have complete control over the weapon stats since they are the expert. Scripter just scripts new weapons and what not, then the stats admin goes in and edits it.
