Didn't think anyone was stupid enough to broadcast "New rule, Don't **** with ebi" but someone did. I've stated he doesn't need server rights to do what he claims to want to do. Prove he needs the rights and what for please.  

just to be able to edit the levels and such, i mean he could make the levels in offline editor, and then send it to them, and need to ask and wait every time he needs a graphic, but thats going to be more of a slow burden than a help.

Professionally, i would agree with Jester, and snk. I think if you took matters into your own hands and tried ruining one of Era Iphone's services there is almost nothing you can do. It is like someone paying you to park his car in a carpark. Right before you park the car, he says that he cant pay you for your services, it doesn't mean that you slam gas and hit the wall to destroy it, and expect the guy to request your services again. Man sorry but "if you can't do the time, don't do the crime".

I do agree with higbey to maybe work up a little solution by sending levels in to andrew or the Levels Admin for uploading.

no no, this is what i support. Higbey wants him to have powers and basically be hired again.

I think Doc just wants to be a staff member because like I pointed out he jumped at the opportunity that classic might take him, yet this is supposed to be him making amends with iEra?  

If Andrew says Doc won't get another chance, then why keep trying to get him one? As much as I was friends with Doc, I kinda agree with Andrew on this one. If someone hacked my Facebook account, I would NOT hire them back.

I believe in second chances as well. However there are some things that are inexcusable. What he did crossed the line. It showed his immaturity, the fact he can't handle himself in stressful situations, and overall just not appropriate to be staff. Now imagine how he treated players back then. Mind you this was before reporting staff was there. I am just saying there are ways of him proving himself without getting those rights, which is true. You are entitled to your opinion, mine just seems more logical to me and others.

I agree with this, and the fact that someone said actions speak louder than words. If snk chooses not to trust him again, that is on his own accord. If Doc chooses to do things that do not seem like kissing butt, and show he can be trusted, that is fine too. It is only up to the hiring side, not the player side however.

I agree with this aspect too. I love developing.. That is Graal for me.
As well as socializing with others. And I love the forums for teaching or helping,
and watching others get annoyed by me without real cause.

Besides calling someone an ahole once or twice for putting someone down, I don't believe I have ever used ill-mannered words towards someone. Yet I am constantly called them by certain people. ;D

I do hope to learn when to stop arguing though, sadly I love a good debate.

i think if he submits his work, shows his levels, and and is only given the powers to update and make levels and such, and only those powers, then i think its okay, i mean i dont think anyone here is so stupid as to believe he is going to do all this work and just lat something inappropriate just to get back at the server.

if he does do something like that, no more chances.

would you give a murderer a gun and say "if he shoots one more person no more chances!" ? An exaggerated comparison, but not really. He tarnished iEra's reputation publicly to the point where Unix doesn't even trust our staff. That's a big deal no matter how much you preach the second chance thing.  

Ok hers my view on this (even though it probable doesn't matter)
Ok so first off I never knew you and have never heard about what you did (I've only played a year) but if I was around when this happened I would probable have forgiven them by now but I would never allow him to be staff again (if it was up to me) on any sever instead I would hire someone who we can all trust and that are just as good (if not better) at graphics like jester or MSM not someone like who did what you did
