Well It's interesting, but not hard to understand once you realize that his definition of "entitled" is being angry that you're not getting what you pay real money for or being scammed. But clearly, being angry about some virtual bugs that give you virtual money is perfectly reasonable and not entitled at all.

(Additionally, reporting bugs is a way that I try to give back to the server seeing as though I don't pay to play. Not only is it not entitled, it's donating free labor... I'm not "complaining about virtual bugs" I am attempting to assist in balancing the system however they intend it).  

Mods can you install a plugin to ban users from a thread. The first user you should ban from a thread is 4-Lom guy from this thread as he is 100% just trolling it constantly.

That moment when paying real money for a service and then being denied that service AFTER being denied support for that service for half a year is considered more entitled than expecting a development team to remove "drug references" because it personally offends the complainee's beliefs and nobody else's.

If someone is paying for additional services and the said company screws up, the costumer has every right to complain. As the saying goes, the costumer is always right. You obviously haven't worked in retail or the food business or any business that works directly with customers to comprehend this.

I don't think that unix gives a **** about this game anyways..so I'm not really surprised.

The worst thing you can do with an unhappy customer is piss them off more by ignoring the issue. Really, the only way to get their attention is to just not spend money on the game until the issue is fixed, just like you said.

Doesn't matter anyway cuz the money that Unixmad gets from graal classic is probably like less than 1k per month. I really dont think he lives off that paycheck and has probably moved on...

In any case, proper customer support is practically obligatory if a company wants one's business. Complaints shouldn't be swept under the rug, rather they should be taken seriously by the business. When a customer is unsatisfied, they should be encouraged to take steps to complain about any issues, in practically any business model an unsatisfied customer that doesn't tell the business about their complaint is more detrimental to their overall business than a customer that is open about complaints. This is because the vocal customer allows the business to improve and solve the problem, showing that they care about their customers and causing less unsatisfied customers in the future that are upset over the same issue. It saves time, promotes customer loyalty, and ultimately saves money and causes customers to spend more.

So essentially what Relic is doing is allowing for Unix to see what went wrong and prevent the same issue from happening again/understand that there are better solutions that won't hurt his business as much.

However, ultimately if Unix doesn't want your business--which can be deduced by the information given--then he really just doesn't care and there's not much you can do considering that it is his game and he can do as he pleases. Of course his business model is controversial but that's none of my business anyways, I am sure that there will still be a great number of players that will spend money on the game despite this situation.

Toonslab resolved my issues 9 out 10 times. But reading Relic's side of story, Relic does have valid reason to complain and protest his ban since Toonslab representative has never made an official statement about his case.
