I don't think people are right by saying zone got worse etc; it just hasn't progressed how you would have liked it.. putting updates sidebyside from the other servers i'm pretty sure zone has like roughly the same updates/bits and bobs[Bar Ol' west-content] so it isn't really anything different than era/classic update rota.

Basically what's happening is that content is being imported from Era and Classic while a large amount of focus is being put towards holiday content and levels. Like, a LARGE bit of focus. Instead of lasting and meaningful content.

Tashkin as the manager.. he's doing okay I guess. But he can't focus on Kingdoms, Kingdoms iPhone and Zone iPhone, that's clear. Kingdoms is a dead horse, he should just leave it. Same applies to Kingdoms iPhone, doubt it'll make it. Especially when he got Zone to care about aswell. He should really focus on only one server and do his best.

This right here makes it ****ing hilarious. He overburdened himself.

i just checked out Zone earlier, it has some potential with the theme its going, just lack of proper developers I guess... you can be pretty creative with a futuristic theme

And the tileset. That was always the turn off for me. Funny thing is the updated tileset has been 'indevelopment' since I was staff on the server, which was before zone was released. Way back then I always said there needed to be a new tileset, there needs to be things to differentiate zone from era like a day/night system and more futuristic activities to do but everyone was happy to Keep making hats and a christmas themed gun...

i agree on the tileset, but graals ideology has always been "take whats already there"

and since the map was already built with shawns shangri-la tileset, i guess it would be too much work for them to make a new one and a new main map (considering most of the map isnt even populated either way, just missions area, spar and whatsoever)

Yea I agree shangri la was probably not the best choice of a tilset. I don't know why they opted for shawns tileset and then calling the game zone instead of just using zones tileset. When i think futuristic i think space station, not floating platform in the sky

Not even that, the place is a essentially a flying shopping mall. They could have made it so much better.
