It wasn't really an argument, I simply said you didn't post any proof when you made the claim so there was a chance he didn't do anything, you posted proof and I accepted you were right, something mature people can do give it a try sometime? I derail every thread? I came into offering reasoning as to why some of the things being said didn't really make sense and you decide to come back with personal attacks and sarcasm? Look in a mirror before telling me I am the one who always "derails" threads. Here was your reply to me apologizing, (I took out the middle part regarding another member as it had no relevance) "Hey I don't take advice from people who can't read. And is take a look at your hours compared to mine and see who needs to do something productive. Fk off with your advice and ignorance. " Even when someone can be the bigger person towards you it seems you can't return the favor, the part I edited out even had you calling me things like sick simply for telling you to supply proof before attacking someone. Anyways I am done here, enjoy your day |

Colin, let me give you a scenario. Player A is into developing graal, and would love to develop for an i server. So, he looks into the available options. He notes that he can apply to era and zone, but that he can't apply for classic. Which will he pick? Obviously the one where he can send in an application. He just wants to develop- he's not going to break his ass to get a volunteer position when he can just submit an application to other servers.

I was denied quite a few times when I first attempted to join the staff team, but I didn't mind because I still felt interested in contributing. Worked on a few things with Jazz on the Testbed server and submitted them. Provided structured projects to work on with fp4 whom I was not friends with previously. After we submitted archery we were invited to join the team. Take of that as you will.

If you want to get hired on iClassic, you can find out how to get information on it. Let's not act like we have a small number of people making levels and scripts because it's so difficult to figure out how to get hired. It would probably help the process greatly if there was some more information made publicly, but that isn't the problem.

The reason why we want Stefan to get better quality staff to improve graal is mainly for ourselves, us consumers. If you are someone who have bought a gralat pack at least once in your life in the game you'll understand that the game is not free, they survive off paying people like us who bought gralats for this service (game). I think it is not unreasonable for us to demand good service: if you bought a rotten macdonalds burger you will ask for a change, and say if the macdonalds staff are not paid but volunteers who actually like doing the work for free burgers, they will be less motivated or show professionalism in your request. macdonalds will not be as big a business as it is today if it is using that kind of business model . Is this a fair statement? The same goes to Graal, if the attitude of admins remains to be like gods of the server as opposed to like members of the service industry serving paying customers (which i think it should be since we pay) then i think as consumers we are obligated to fight for better service. And now they are giving you bad service when you paid for something, maybe you should let them know that what they are doing isnt so good? I dont agree with Collin's 'you bought gralats, its your own fault you deserve it' argument because i bought gralats partly to support this game that ive played a long time ago and i know stefan and his company has bills to pay, i dont want graal to die off and because i spent a substantial amount of time in it in the last 2 years. Now that ive supported stefan, shouldnt stefan give some reasonable customer service back like all normal businesses. If stefan and his staff were to sit in a dark smokey room laughing at little wushen paying for his game while they gives crap services, then maybe i do deserve it to support a game that sucks. Logically maybe everyone should leave the game and let this crap company that doenst give a hoot about its customers die. But i doubt stefan doenst care about his business. Even a smart child manning a lemonade stall will care about his business, let alone a guy who built it from scratch as a sort of hobby and made it his full time job. I agree with thallen to an extend that ranting here wouldnt make them move their butts, but fact is if we dont rant where else can we show customer dissatisfaction. We could try emailing them but knowing the quality of customer services they provide we are better off talking to a piece of dead wood. If they continue to piss customers off hard enough, its not really that hard to go to every single game review sites/forums/app reviews to post bad reviews about graal online. Maybe that wouldnt take away the income from "kids who bought itune cards as birthday gifts" but even taking 10% of sales from them will be something and potentially crippling to its business, every little bit helps. I can organise people to do the same to amplify that damage. The only question is why should we do that to ruin a game that we are supporting and played since we were bloody kids? Honestly staff corruption and crappiness has plagued graal since the begining, i remember a police chief in old PC classic wanted me to find him girls if i want to be in the GP team. This is ok in free graal, not ok in 'now we are a professional business' graal. Ranting here gives the Devs a chance to do something right,a time to react to a problem that arises. A channel where dissatisfaction is voiced out and made public. This would be a step to hopefully make graal better for everyone else (even the 'smart' ones who dont pay) Thanks for reading the chunk
