I can believe what Zazzi said. I went to a summer camp this summer that had a lot of kids from the south. Out of all 200 of us, there was only 2 minorities.

Obamacare isn't going to allow certain people to receive treatment needed to survive in certain situations. Instead, some homeless man with no form of payment could be using your tax dollars to pay for his yearly checkup in the hospital room that could have saved your life. This system currently is a global laughing stock in Canada.

Pulling troops out of the Middle East while the US is being targeted by those countries is considered retreat, especially while it makes our country vulnerable and the new Al Qaeda leader specifically stated that "America must die." In case you haven't noticed, or don't know people currently in service, the US signed off as the "police of the world" in the UN agreement after World War I. Right now, we are losing the war. No other country is here to help us, which the alliance of the UN agreement agreedon doing. Without sufficient troops, a commander cannot execute missions effectively. We're kind of at a loss from many different views, but this is really not the answer if you ask me..


I feel uneasy about the decisions being made in office. I also dislike the more than generous amount of taxes paid by my family every month that go towards things that need it less than things would benefit the country itself. I don't really like Romney. But I really don't like the direction our country is taking, and will now continue to take.. It isn't right, and we will suffer from it in the future as young adults.

Ok, so let me get this straight. Because a camp of kids from the south had very few minorities, they must be racist... You are as clueless and ignorant as zazzi. You draw these radical assumptions out of complete nonsense. I can tell you that sadly there is as much racism in the north east, or anywhere in the country for that matter, as there is in the south. Not every southerner is a racist, gun hugging redneck you prick.

I didn't draw any assumptions, all I said was 1% of the group was minority. Whenever I display any kind of statistic I've found or collected, you tell me it's complete nonsense. I never said that every southerner is a racist, gun hugging redneck, all I said was there isn't that much minority in the south compared to where I live. I didn't bring up racism in my last post.

Also on a side note, as an iEra staff member, you should be a roll model on these forums. Calling me a prick because of something I didn't even say isn't very professional of you.

You said you believe what zazzi said, which probably gave him the wrong message that you agreed with the whole not voting for Obama makes you racist idea.

To get a proper measure of the population of minorities in specific regions, I recommend looking at census data, not data gathered from your own personal experiences. Average income of the area, the general culture of the activities you're observing from, as well as other factors can effect the diversity of the population in the area. There are some towns in the south that might have a very high African American population, and others that might have a very low population.

He misinterpreted what you meant, give him a break- I misinterpreted you as well.

But I do agree, he probably shouldn't have called you a prick. You must understand that not everyone is perfect and when you're acting like a complete idiot it isn't easy to prevent yourself from saying such things.

You said you can believe zazzis post, which was that everyone in the south is a racist. You then went on to back up your agreement with an example of very few minorities amongst southerners. If you were not using this example to back your agreement with zazzis claim about racism then it seems pretty irrelevant.

Who says I don't care? Seeing that these are the unofficial forums I am allowed to express my opinions freely. I apologize if my use of "prick" offended you.  

The US owes 16 trillion dollars in debt, Obama just made it get higher. I predict by the end of his term, we'll owe about 20 trillion. Not to mention this could could immensely raise our taxes.

uh you do realize thats not just from when he got in office. also he is just the president, he isnt everything, the legislative branch tends to be more important than people realize.
