The concept of the game is cool and I can kinda see the appeal, (call me lazy) but I rlly cbf walking just to get a virtiual item or pokemon.

I don't go outside and am not motivated to physically do anything.

I beat my first gym battle. Loving this game so far.

Went to my local park and got heathly and will go back tomorrow with a phone charger

Will beat this guys ass later today.

Why do I feel like this game dumbs down every aspect of a good pokemon game to the most mundane level?

There's hardly any battling or any way to connect more with your pokemon. Even catching them is really annoying. Everything is pretty random and it takes away from the feeling of exploration.

There's not really any training, all you do is feed your pokemon some crystal meth and ecstasy and they somehow get stronger.
