nah, tis from Shangri-La as well... same style and all. would fit better than the zone tiles w/ skyworld

ground tiles seem a bit odd, loving the buildings though  

New Gmap kinda reminds me of the Bioshock Infinite. What Zone really needs to focus on is completing that new tileset they've been promising us since 2012.

If you have been playing long enough, you would know that Zone had started on a tileset that was meant to be updated two-three Gmaps ago, when hover bike was first released.  

Was never finished, discontinued or it wasn't satisfying, as such

I've been playing since release, and there's been no official tileset making. A few staff members have attempted to make some, but none have been used. So yes, I've been playing long enough.

The perspective is so off
And Imo the color palette is really unappealing
Most of the tiles look kind of like plastic
A lot of tiles that should have depth look flat and unappealing
The moon tiles are okish I guess.

There's plenty of better colors that could be used that would fit a "dark" palette  

It will be revised once it can be edited.  

I think that tileset would work substantially better than the current one, with the exception that the colors were tweaked, and the square floor tiles were made more rectangular to correlate with the perspective, and that the staircase tiles were also correlated with the perspective.
