I've spent like $60 total on iEra. The accounts I had were given to me by friends, or sometimes I buy them for like $30 and sell them for $170-200

The managers of the game can go on a pay roll, but I only know of XOR being on that pay roll. I don't think it's much and really not the same as a real job.

From what I understand, only the actual creators of a server will get paid. Even if the idea was there and such, they'll still get paid if they make it themselves. See: Delteria and MD; possibly others.

As for people like Xor, some of the globals that are like a rank under Stefan get paid, and even then I don't think it's much unless it's costumer support/general coding. Hell, it might even just be lifetime membership and gelats every month.
