I'm just going to post a reply I made to someone on my Graal FB on their status that had a discussion similar to this. This applies mostly to dating on Graal but I supposed can apply to general online dating if you're open minded enough to read it as such.

Its supposed to be PG-13 and I find dating on Graal something like just another thing to do. Like spar. I do not consider it to be actually dating. I mess around in guild chat a lot and show how much I love every single girl in my guild. Graal dating is a joke. There are the few couples that FaceTime and Skype, and some know each other outside of Graal.

Another thing ridiculous to me is that people compare the kids who go around saying "looking for gf 13/14" to the people who actually take time to get to know each other if they have the trust and belief that they are being real with one another. It isn't the same concept. Anyone can fake who they really are online and in real life, it's just easier to do it online. Ever heard of an alias? Or just the general term, a liar? |
