something everyone seems to be missing is that this wasn't supposed to be strictly a "graphics" contest. Graphics are an important factor, but i also wanted people to be creative and try their absolute best at making something that would stand out and be different.

No, staff picked everything. Polls were a factor in both the top 3 picks and honorable mentions but were only there to give us an idea of what players thought.

There were a lot of states I really liked that I would have wanted to pick to be a part of the 9 winners, but the polls said otherwise. I wanted to try to add all the most favored ones, even though some of the ones that had a lot of votes didn't really appeal to me.

A Battery and health potion isn't really that creative compared to the other states that didn't make it

The poll didn't decide the winners, as Coco explained there were other deciding matters rather than just numbers.

I ended up getting 3rd, pretty happy with the position I got. Maybe I would have gotten higher if my idea was more unique. I just wanted to fit the classic theme with the shield, arrows etc
