Block users with ifile let us see...thats a pretty good amount of Graal gone.
Less people=less money and less money=mad unixmad and mad unixmad means dead stefan. Dead stefan means the servers blow up. Servers blow up=no more Graal. So blocking users with iFile is a big no no!

*facepalm* the developers do not need to use ifile to see internal files... And it's third party software... So according to the rules.....

Okay, go ahead and just disregard the rest of my post. iFile was obviously released for a purpose, and it clearly wasn't for Graal. Other people need it for legitimate usage, and it wouldn't be fair to limit them. Like I said, blocking iFile won't do **** to stop stealing custom heads. There are workarounds, as you said yourself, to view the Era image files without the use of iFile, all of which are external, and as a result, undetectable.

Also, Backgrounder is third party software for people that aren't upgraded to a recent iOS that allows them to background an application, and I'm sure a hell of a lot of Era users use that. According to our 'rules', we should ban them all too.  

Talon always has good stuff to say. I went in the Customs part of Era News and looked at the illegal heads and bodies. I've seen loads of those "Blob" bodies when I was new. Now they're illegal. Why?

Because people use it for bad things and it is affecting the game negatively, the app can block users with ifile. It's possible to detect and so far there is no real way to bypass it unless there's another app like ifile, which could also be blocked.


Basically, yes it can be used for good, but when there is no way to make it impossible to use it for bad then it is best not to even allow it, it's third party software used for viewing and editing. Stefan wouldn't do it, but he could, and personally I think it would at least help.

Jailbreaking is legal in North America, as well as many other places in the world. Being a third party app doesn't make it against the rules, it simply means it isn't endorsed by Apple.

There is illegal software you can download via Cydia, however iFile is just a fiile browser. It wouldn't be rational to block people who own any form of file browser.

We're more strict about staff heads for obvious reasons. If a player uploaded a staff head, they could impersonate that staff and trick other players into believing they are staff and scam/recieve account details from others.

I find this pointless, unless the players are too stupid to tap their screen and see if your name is gold, your not a staff member.  

SSH with Winscp or Cyberduck, no need for iFile.
Blocking iFile would solve nothing.  

ifile is the best cydia tweak.
