Quest for a warp scroll would be better IMO.

It takes 10-20 seconds to get between towns, how lazy are you all.

I was thinking something along the lines of limited warp scrolls, like they have on Maplestory. Firstly, they would warp you in the middle of major towns only. Secondly, they would cost somewhere from 30 - 100+ gralats, so as to not disturb the train and mount transportation systems greatly. Thirdly, you would have to keep buying scrolls, like how players buy bombs and arrows; it wouldn't be an unlimited item like the lantern. http://i50.tinypic.com/vymxef.jpg (Unsupported image host) note: this would really be suited for "transportation purposes" and not "unstick me". Moreover, the map icons would be different for each town. The item could be placed in tools or maybe given its own folder. |

Good idea, but in a way the glitchers/hackers always win and always cause the staff to do double the work. So I don't see this happening. That would be somewhat like in Unholy Nation once you travel to a city you can pick up a warpscroll so to go somewhere you'd have to have already discovered it. But this is iClassic the map isn't large enough for it to be an actual challenge to get all warpscrolls. |

Warps can't be added due to the sheer size of the population. When events happen players will all use there warps near that part of the map, a lot will use the same spots, and it will just create lag from too many players in one area, also sort of ruins the whole transportation aspect, the closest I'd get to transportation would be a lift from a plateau in graal city to the outside of the snowtown tunnel area, hopefully boosting the amount of players in snowtown and adding to the ski mountain feel, as lifts could be added to the snowy parts of the snowtown bluffs, like a ski lift. We have the scripting, the belle island lift, look at the way the rope looks all segmented, it's probably going to be (if not already) made so you place one end in one place and the other in another and the lift goes between the points. |
