What does the yellow one do?

No idea  

Black: 8 damage.
Blue: 7 damage knockback.
Red: 7 damage knockback and character spins.
Green: 7 damage.
Yellow: 8 damage.
In my opinion the Green and the Yellow are the most useless ones.

Red.  

I found that the best way to get them, is wander around the beaches on Southridge with a skateboard, and whenever you see a king crab or signs of a king crab, stop, hang around for a bit and kill the little crabs. Then when the health of the king crab gets really low, rush in and start grabbing like a mad man. Keep grabbing until some noob has the nerve to say "Who got?" and someone replies with "I got!" or "No drop"

I find black is like a Gurkha with smaller reach.
While the Red dagger does -1 damage than the black, it still knocks the enemy, which is very very helpful.
