Anyone else play?  

I play but I stopped playing recently after I fell from 1300 to 1000 elo because of hackers crashing games with a program called "drophack".  

I'm halfway through Level 28, hoping to hit 30 by the end of this weekend. I just bought Akali and she's quickly becoming one of my favorite top picks, though I haven't tried her mid too much. Just one game mid against an Ashe, who got destroyed.  

I'm up for a game whenever. I just got Akali too, and I gotta say, she's very unique and versatile.

I've been lagging a lot lately, and the internet at my hotel isn't the best, so it's been really hard for me lately.  

I also refunded Syndra and picked up a skin for her, I enjoy playing her that much. She snowballs so well. I might start playing her mid the way I play Talon on mid. gankgankgankgankgank with boots +5.

Probably wouldn't work in draft/ranked, though.  

Mark of the Assassin + Shadow Dance. So much burst, it's pretty amazing. I was also playing a bit of Tristana and Hybrid Varus before Akali. They're also fun champions to play.  

What items do you go for? I usually start boots+pots, then Hextech Revolver, then finish off Ninja/Merc, then Rylai's, then Deathcap. Everything else is situational, though I love Lich Bane on her.

My combos usually go something like this: Mark of the Assassin -> (Wait for CD) -> Shadow Dance -> Mark of the Assassin -> Crescent Slash -> Shadow Dance (they're probably dead by now) -> Mark of the Assassin (yeah, they're dead) -> Shadow Dash to minion behind you if in danger. Sometimes I'll throw in a Twilight Shroud between Marks if I have enough energy. I usually use Twilight Shroud as a defensive juke, though.

Well, I go for Ability Tome and one health potion if I'm going mid, just for that extra harass potential with her passive.

The boots always vary, depending on the team comp. If I'm fed, I go for boots of swiftness for more ganks, and to roam. If the enemy team is full of squishes, I go for Sorcerers Boots, just for that extra burst.

My mid game core items are pretty much as follows: Hextech Revolver, Rylai's, and Lich Bane. I'm currently saving up IP to finish Akali's rune's, and I hope to get that done soon.

It's always worth a try. My brother really got me into it, since he got me to test out different champions and all that.

LoL was generally a really exciting game back when I was still trying to figure each champion out.  

Important tip: don't jump into ranked once you hit 30. play normal draft to get experience with counter picking, get several rune pages for all the roles as well as learn champions for them, and familiarize yourself with the common method of play known as the "meta".


ranked is boring anyways, its pretty much run around in lane for 15 minutes just clicking minions right before they die to get gold.
