it's very inovative and practical,I applaud nintendo on that front however I would not imagine myseld paying more than 20$ for cardboard.

I would think that this concept would have come from nintendos philosophy of keeping prices cheap so it's more affordable to wide audiences(and especially young families)

I thaught the idea was to keep costs down for acessories because we all remember how pricey they were on the wii however that doesn't seem like the case.

I don't think nintendo will do well in selling this product.

it's cool in theory, but the fact that it's cardboard just arises so many problems..  

Lol so basically you pay for cardboard that you don’t actually need but makes it looks like whatever you’re using joysticks etc for i.e piano, etc . may aswell make your own for 1/10 of the price or don’t even do and use the joystick etc as they are, thought Nintendo was better than this ****e  

It's k guys I'll take one for the team and buy kit 01 and let you know if it's bad or not when I get it at the end of April.

ok.  

I think this is a really cool idea, the execution is terrible though.

1. Looks like Nintendo doesn't have a good grasp of their target audience with this, on one hand most of these game look ridiculously kid friendly and not oriented towards older audiences; while at the same time cardboard is a terrible kids toy for obvious reasons. Not only that but I would never pay 150$ for something that my kid uses as an add on to their console (even if it wasn't asking to be destroyed).
2. Why cardboard? If this was a cheap disposable toy, then great that would actually make cardboard one of the best materials to use. But for 150$ some sort of plastic or even a sturdy foam would be a much better choice imo, especially with as many moving parts as most of these have.
3. It's just plain bad advertising for them to incorporate a system that they aren't selling yet (VR) on a separate product. Sure it seems cool but they really need to choose one to release first.
4. More of a personal thing but the clutter that all of these would cause would drive me insane.

nintendo needs to go back to making gamecubes tbh havnt liked a nintendo product since. Hell even the games are ass now i remember the old super smash bros and paper mario ttyd (yea they messed up paper mario up real bad since) most fun games i ever played. now their selling cardboard what a joke and the funny thing is people still gonna buy this crap cause its nintendo.

Gotta disagree, Switch is a pretty great system that sets itself apart from XBOX, PS, and even other Nintendo products. And even though I'm not a huge fan of what I've seen with Labo, it seems like a huge innovative step in an interesting direction  

Is this a joke?.... Is Nintendo REALLY selling these for 150 dollars? Like im just dying from laughter. Like the idea of DIY projects with Nintendo does sound cool. But is just. Really?

Are you kidding?? Chinese companies don't improve designs they rip off.
They'd use legal sized printer paper at most.

I honestly wouldn't want to spend $100 on some pieces of cardboard. Why not invest that money into a new game
