It probably based on your first login time during the first gift (from graal classic staff) you received, to reduce the number of players login during the time to open gift

Oh and mine is at 12/25 3 pm EST

Its based on VIP i believe the time is random but VIP is earliest possible times. Mine were supposed to be opened at 5pm, bought VIP for a month and opened at 11am

And it would suck more when no one would be able to open their presents or presents disappeared because of lag if everyone opened them at the same time.

Wait one question, can you guys make it so that it can just say what time your presents will open in your time zone. If you guys can find which country we're in then there could be a way to find which time zone we're in?

Technically yes, but it'd be a lot more complicated than the flag system is now, and it probably wouldn't help much to disperse the lag with US players.
