Good discussion. I'll completely dismiss my original idea since you did such a good job at convincing me otherwise.

The thing is once this new system is introduced , many new players willl start making use of the family system, so what will happen to a family tree when noobie players invite and kick new people ever day and night. Wouldn't that just make the whole tree a mess?

I think the people that hate this idea the most are socializing players. Maybe classic can give them something that works similar to a guild without the perks.
