Actually a generation is when a main series of games is released introducing a healthy amount of Pokemon (usually 100+) that can play important parts in the development of both the main games of Pokemon and the competitive side of it.

Lol I wonder what the new Pokemon will be this time. Really excited to see the starters and legendaries.

The Pokethon Dome was another amazing part of SS that I hope comes back. Doubt it will, probably will be region specific

Also, the first gen Pokemon games are out on 3DS eShop!! I was never able to play it because I wasn't into Pokemon in childhood so now... It's time.

In my opinion pokemon already lost most of it's glory with the games so can't say I'm hyped. Maybe they'll add some special new feature though idk

The way I see it; every generation EXCEPT gen 5 is amazing and considering there are 6 generations and only one of them actually pisses me off, the chances of this new series being good is pretty high up there.

I actually liked gen 5 tbh, I think it had the best plot/storyline out of all of the games (even though most of the Pokemon were terribad)
