Not really. It's a matter of preference, and honestly some people prefer the international release colors.

The primary color scheme of the Famicom is more reminiscent of other things to me, personally, like the electronic game 'Simon.' It's kind of a color layout for people who have a hard time figuring out how buttons work. (Like young kids, older people, or those who are just learning how to play a video game console.) Since it's the 'Family Computer' in Japan, it was first marketed as such, which is a pretty good explanation for why those buttons would be separate colors in the first place.

In other countries, the button colors were very different but people learned to use them well just the same. Mostly because you don't look at a controller to play a game, you look at the screen. The color layouts on consoles and controllers are neat and all, but it's purely just an aesthetic thing.

Also, good try but that game was originally released for the MSX2. Castlevania is the game that came to both the NES and Famicom. (The original Famicom, which isn't even the one you're talking about.)

You know I started this talking about the Original Famicom, not the SuFami?
But everything is mostly the same. Aesthetically it's different, but nostalgia is preference.

And the reason I stated that they were different, is because of Nintendo's religious censorship.

The SFC had games that never got ported in the SNES regions, so there's a reason.

I can play both.
Games change in the process, I mentioned Pokemon as in Pokemon Red and Green, games that are different compared to our Red and Blue.
Some games are way expensive in NES from (Little Samson), but on Famicom it's affordable. (LICKLE)
Also, I'm a collector. Since MegaMan is my favorite series, I'd like to own the Rockman games on Famicom. This includes RockBoard, an unreleased video board game.
There's also many weird and strange pirated FC games. Like Somari.
