They aren't really acting foolish. They are expressing their opinions on the matter which is what forums are for. I think everyone realizes there is a possibility there can be problems, but, they are rightfully disappointed if this was announced weeks in advance.

Also, what is bad about just going to the gang spar room, removing the warp/summoning the gangs and finishing it that way?

It was a problem with the spar arena itself. It wouldn't balance out the number of players per team. So sometimes it'd be 4 on 2, 3 on 4, etc. We can't warp them in the arena due to complications with the script. Unless they were to join by clicking the join button, the spar arena would just keep kicking them out. And as said earlier, there was a problem with evening out the teams if they just..."joined".

Considering they're more or less the exact same system...yes.
Just like iEra's Gang Spars. All the participating members have to tap join to participate. If only 2 tap join, only 2 fight. The rest aren't automatically put in as well.

Then why not make rules for each squad "you must have x amount of players on to participate" That way each squad has equal amount of sparrers.

I'm surprised they didn't come up with that idea. It's sounds so simple yet they didn't do it, considering you need 4 players to participate anyway...

Those "technical issues" are really bad excuses.
I mean, couldn't you just warp them into a blank level and let them spar after the match started when a member of staff starts it via chat? Of course you could, and the dead people would be warped away. But as I see, you're either to dumb to get some logical ideas or are to lazy to summon and warp some more than planned? You guys just add another disappointment.

We tried to do our best, and something went wrong. Happens to everyone.
But you know, if you'd all like, we could save you guys the disappointment by not wasting volunteered hours to bring you guys any big events. 'Specially if y'all are going to act foolish over a bump.

They had equal amounts of players. However, some players wouldn't be joined into the match.

No, what Jay means is something like this:
"You need to have [any choose of a number] of players readied to start the spar-match."
I would even go with "Every player needs to be ready otherwise the spar will not start", since you don't have more than five players on a team.

Like pumad said, you could have easily just taken a blank level, make it pk, add 2 boxes, drag a gang into their respective boxes on each side, then when ready destroy the boxes with OLE. Hell, could have even used NPC editor for that and just use 2 large images.

Not trying to bash on you guys or anything honestly x-x I just don't see why you would need to postpone/cancel the event people were waiting/excited for when there are other alternatives.

Did you guys at least compensate the players for their wasted time? I am sure some people stayed up very late just to be told that the tourny wasn't happening.

They gave the players who already sparred (I think 4 guilds partook, 2 won) 300g, the other players who didn't get to spar due to 'techincal difficulties' got nothing.

I am sure there are people in those guilds that didn't get a chance to spar that still stayed up really late just for this. Also, you get more than 300 gralats by doing a regular event =[ at least give em a nice hat or something. Oh well, I have no say in these matters anymore *goes back to corner*
