The success of high emotional story's with a great storyline for cartoons make's it available for all ages. The random wackiness will only get a small amount of viewers. Teen Titans and Avatar The Last Airbender are amazing examples of tv shows that have some small comedy for kids, while a great storyline. I remember always watching this show with my dad as this was the only cartoon he's ever enjoyed. If you want to have that wacky comedy, the only show that did that right in my opinion is Invader Zim. Sigh...
