Graal is another world full of creeps, perverts, and friends. But I like it. You never die. You can explore forever. The game always changes. From starting in 2009 and taking breaks every 6 months and such it has opened a new world up for me. My best friend played graal. It taught me how to be street smart It taught me leadership. It brought me into gfx (doing a front of a head in my free time, teaching myself) It taught me how I can create a game. It showed me that there are people who are so stupid. It showed me new friends, games, and life lessons. Overall though.. Graal was fun. I have decided to quit for now. I became addicted to it so I'm taking a break. |

Cute thread. I was pretty obsessed with it for the first two years of playing. I met a lot of really cool people, and I had a lot of fun while playing the unhealthy amount of time I did. Unlike a lot of you, I can't really say I've gained too much from it. Just some interesting memories. It's kind of strange, but it had a nice vibe that was much different than real life. That was basically the main appeal for me. Yes, most of that was past-tense. I still enjoy the game every now and then, but I'm not nearly as active as I was before. It's cool to see the game go through so many changes though, and it's cool to see the community grow over time. Overall, I think my positive experiences from this game outweigh the negative. |

To me, graal started as a hobby. Then I was addicted for about a year, in which I got involved on the PC, learned to Dev, and found out what I wanted to do after high school. This summer I'll be going to college to study game development, all because of graal online's influence on my life. I could say I lost a lot of social life because of the game, but I made a lot of good friends through graal. Overall it's had more of a good impact on my life.
