Seriously? The m16 and m416 are not even close to OP at all. None of the weapons in battlefield are OP. m16 now has hella recoil and m416 has a high bullet drop with a high side to side recoil. The only gun thats slightly Op is usas slugs and mk11 slugs.

Assault weapons are not OP as they lack Close quarters power except for aek and famas. Assault weapons are ment for medium to long ranges.

The only things thats unbalanced is jets, support, and helicopters.

I dont want to start a war or anything, this is just my personal opinion!

Do you play on pc or console? M16s recoil is easy to control with a mouse. Even tho it has been nerfed pretty much, will still be probably the most used weapon.

The most weapons are balanced. But the aek is good at any range (my opinion). Also the Usas is just ridicilously OP. The most Lmgs are incredible OP because you can run around with a grip and a silencer and the is literally no recoil.

Emc jammer makes the jet OP

I apologise about the crazy grammar check and term correction, but here's where methinks the image is from, and the page says M4A1, but you're right on that, sorry. Who typed that up didn't notice the Piticanny rail of an M4A3. And enough about BF3 and IRL M16s guys, back to era! We all know you love Battlefield 3, but this is the Era subforum and we've already taken this thread far off track. Especially that we've filled more than a page of off topic.

And Sam, you are probably gonna go 'Ha! I WAS RIGHT YOU MADE A MISTAKE LOLZ', but no need for such a silly reaction. At least I mentioned my mistake. =)

Console. M16 will be the most used as its the best all around weapon.
Aek range drop off is at a very very short range.
Usas is terrible when was the last time you played?
Recoil does not matter with LMGs since the bullet spread is wider than you moms.
Jets are OP because on PC they have issues with spotting. On both jets can slow down WAY too fast.

Anyway, the m16 variant images are relative. The m4 should not be longer than the m16.
