With 1.3 soon releasing and my vacation in the next week, I have decided that the server will be closed from Thursday, June 21 to no earlier than Saturday, June 30. Assuming 1.3 is out once I return, a new map will be created so that players can enjoy the new features without having to venture out 10-20,000 blocks.

The transfer will be slightly complicated, but here is how it will work:

• Both the old map and the new map will be accessible for the first week of the new server existing.
• This means that players will be able to grief their own houses and move any materials to the new map that they choose. I am also willing to copy and paste up to three structures per player to the new map. Please note that some structures may be accepted or denied based on my consent. Structures build underground or into mountains are not likely to be allowed due to the attached terrain, so I recommend that you ask me to check it so I can give you a quote on whether or not it will be copied.
• Due to plug-in configurations, all chest locks may be lost. I have set up an area (/warp VAULT) where you can place unlimited chests to contain your items. You will be able to safely retrieve these when the new server releases.
• If you wish to have animals transferred, please register them with me. (I will take the liberty of slaughtering them and respawning them once the new map is opened. Colored sheep will not be transferred so you will receive a dye for each colored sheep you register.)
• The new server will contain many new ways to entertain yourself, both from the new version and from plugins that I plan to install, so be sure to stick around

Warning: This should be common sense, but you are only allowed to grief your own structures! If you are caught harvesting structures that you did not create, you will be banned from the server until the new server comes out AND you will not be allowed to transfer anything. (You will also be banned from the new map after release, or if I can't figure that out just banned until whenever I feel like unbanning you.)

Lol how so? Because two people are complaining that they got banned? Lol.  

Seems like stuff is constantly getting griefed and stolen and all this drama. No grief, no PK, protections, and moderators, no drama.  

Matt, did you ban DragonRider again or is he just not playing?

Seems like stuff is constantly getting griefed and stolen and all this drama. No grief, no PK, protections, and moderators, no drama.

No griefing incidents have occurred in the last few weeks aside from Airspitter, and no sturdy has occurred, again aside from Airspitter. There already was no PK, block logs, and little to no drama on the server.

I will see about hiring new moderators for when the new server, however.

Not like Graalians 1.0 was any better- Oddly enough this one has more... I don't want to use the word 'stable' for the players, but they bitch a lot less about killing one another's animals and stepping on each other's crops.

However they still maintain a dependency on OP assistance for most mundane things.

Long story short, Graalians 2 retained about 30% of the players from Graalians 1. The 70% that didn't come over contained most of the unstable thin-skinned bitchy people who wouldn't leave one another alone.

Tbh, I did want you on the server. I really liked having you as a player. You did try to do some things to help the community like a shop, and I really thought that was neat. Just, once I saw overwhelming evidence that you had been stealing and griefing, I just figured that nobody would want to deal with that drama and so I removed you. It's not like a perma-ban or anything. You were banned for about three days, during which time the server was stagnant except for the vault. And you did cause trouble, and I really did want to unban you as soon as you apologized, but you didn't. So honestly, I didn't really want to add you back after that. I know you think I'm lying to you about the logs, but why would I? Why would I ban you just because? I think I've made it clear that I really want to have as many people enjoying the server as possible (for example, I banned Seeker because he only logged on to tell people to play his server).

I have no desire to keep you banned. In fact, I cleared both your and Seeker's ban once the vault was closed and we started blowing up the server. I'm not planning on banning you again for the new version, either, and I hope you come and play like you did on the old server--minus the stealing and the griefing.

When people ask me for useless things, I try to get the point across as much as I can that I'm not actually going to give them free items, etc.

So usually, if you ask me for free items, I fill your inventory with dirt or something useless. Long story short, I don't get useless requests.

And if you [random person who had nothing to do with it] are going to call me an abuser for it, never has their been a chance where this has caused even the most remote problems. It's just OMG MATTKAN WHAT THE HECK and they incinerate it all and get over it.

• Ability to be constantly whined at for items and keep your cool
• Ability to be harassed and slandered and called unfair--and keep your cool
• Ability to help and not be a nuisance.
• Ability to not abuse your powers. Smiting Jonus, however, is okay.
• I will do my best to set up a system where you don't have to give up playing the game in order to be an OP.

Okay, right now I'm thinking of hiring Kiwi and Marker as OPs. I know them both, they're both my friends, and I can trust them both to always do the right thing. Kiwi will especially be a big help because he lives in and can help cover that time zone. If anybody has any dire problems with them, please let me know... ... ... .. .
