Generally, punishments for each offense is up to the staff distributing the consequence, the severity of the offense(s), and/or the specific server the infraction has occurred on. The website I posted is the Official Graal Rules of Conduct, and there is no other way to "generally" list them. It tells you pretty straight up what you should and shouldn't do as a player. I'm pretty sure no other server has all their rules and regulations posted in-game. In fact, the App Store specifically lists www.graalonline.com as the company website. If one plans to read the rules and regulations, the first place he or she should check (regarding any company) is the company website. The number and severity of offenses differs so much that I believe it is impossible to accurately list each and every punishment for each and every infraction possible to commit. "Easier said than done..." You suggest that the system should be fair. My suggestion was to fairly warn players of the existence of rules and regulations for the game, regardless of the server. Here's the fact: You cannot make someone read something. I admit I have never gone to the US government website and read each and every law, and I don't think the solution to possible punishment is to post laws all around my house to make sure I am warned. If I want to see the rules, I will go to the source of them myself. That's just the way things are, and the way people behave. I did. I'm sure if anyone was curious about the actual rules and regulations of the game itself, he or she would go there too. You made a general statement with good intentions, and I understand your reasoning, but it is not impossible. EDIT:

that tos is for pc graal, its not formulated for iclassic or iera, some of it is not valid, and it needs to be IN GAME. its the only way. its easy and no reason not to, dont be stubborn, no need to be lazy and just tell players to go to some old ToS that isnt specifically made for the server and some of it will just confuse players that dont play pc. a link isnt enough. you need to make it so a player can go and see what is okay and what isnt, the tos has nothing on guilds or rules with them, nothing on language, nothing on pking (yes ive met players that thought gralat stealing and pking where against the rules) why would doing this be bad? this would just make it so players know what crosses the line and what doesnt. |

Please do not call me lazy or stubborn for disagreeing with a script hundreds of lines long. If you think someone is going to spend all day reading the entire thing through on Graal, be my guest. Go have it added. I am suggesting a much simpler route, and one that wouldn't add an extra boost of latency on the level because of one extraordinarily long script chain.
Perhaps I am not understanding your proposal correctly. Regardless, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. What type of in-game list are you expecting to be added so players can read the company code of conduct? It really does seem like you want to fit 6 internet pages of information on one sign for players to read. |

Maybe we should freeze everyone, right now on the game, and have the TOS pop up, and it won't go away until the players pass a quiz on it. Anyone? |
