No sir. I figured it was just me but continued all week. Seems it's happening to others too. It mostly happens when I exit my gang house, but also random times

Happens there also. But the pic that's attached to the original post is from me just logging in. It happens at different intervals  

I'm always in my ghouse when it happens, I get kicked from it upon logging in and the map doesn't return.  

Sounds like it happens when you log off in a mapless area (such as houses) and log in in an area where the map is available. Must've started when you applied that "Log off=kicked from house" update.

it has been happening a lot lol.. just retart the app.. it works fine after for me lool  

It happens to me sometimes aswell. You just have to enter a building and then get out and the map will come back. I think it does that when you are at a house and then log off or so.

What did you expect when you tapped a thread called bug? Butterflies and worms?.

What if someone also expierenced this and wanted to post. Doing a search on thread titles wouldn't bring this up so they would raise a new thread.

I expect people to be far less lazy and inconsiderate when raising new threads.

this happned to me, I wasnt lagging, I was in my house, left and lost the map button. 9I left house into underground spar?)  

The map disappears when :
You log off into a gang house and log in back
Your lagging and quickly kicked from house once logged it/invited
You have disabled your map
