Or perhaps just an International Graalian Remembrance Day, focussing on all countries and all wars. But then, of course, they'd make a joke out of it by selling hundreds of War hats. Another idea could be to make it Armistice Day, which is on the same day as your Veterans day, but has a different name. Or Remembrance Day, which, I've learnt, is what they call it in Australia. As I'm typing this I've realized that, because they're all different, if they did make a holiday out of them, there'd just be 'one-off' items sold again and again. So, I think, if they did make a 'holiday' out of it, they should do a week long new celebration, that IS foccussed on remembering and not buying hats. Maybe they could open a red poppy field by the Memorial Builiding (or in it), and there you could buy a poppy ability for one gralat, where you hold it above your head. People would just make shields, but who cares? People could also be encouraged to wear their country flag shields, like during the FIFA World Cup (but not the Rugby World Cup, I noticed ). I think other various things could be sold, as long as they're cheap and don't take away from the fact that there have been wars, where we blindly battled our beliefs, and freedom, and some of us died. You can't have a solemn celebration and say, "OMG there are new hats! Go and buy them! Yay! oh yeah and remember peeps died. BUT HATS!"- Kiwi |

I take offence to the idea of celebrating war-related "holidays" on Graal. Especially September 11th rememberance day, that was a disgrace.

Making profit off of wars and illnesses is just wrong. Yea I'm sure buying a pink ribbon hat and a stop SOPA hat and a war related day hat will help those causes, oh wait, Stefan and Unixmad are too cheap to donate profits from those hats to the charity's or organizations. |

I thought that was a decent attempt at a joke honestly. I take it you think 9/11 jokes are just plane awful? Personally, WWII jokes are out of Mein Kampfort zone, Anne Frankly I won't stand for them, but each to their own.
