That's nice to hear cause I have a 4g. Anywho, I want to know, did the players who tested the minigame like it? Cause if they did I would be very excited for the release of this event.

Awesome! When/if people try the event, you should somehow (idk yet) put a warning up saying "may cause vast crash and other harmful conflicts for 2g and 1g iPhones/iPods. Please do not do this event if you are playing one of those generations. Thank you ~ The iEra Staff Team" or something like that.

The darkness doesn't change; it's that way throughout the whole game.


Update; It seems that 2nd Generation iDevices cannot play this minigame. They crash upon entering and are not able to relaunch application.

the iPod 2 has limited RAM(128mb) so it may be overwhelmed by all the effects, as well as a very inferior gpu. Ipod 3 has the newer gpu and more RAM(256mb,assuming its not the 8 gb version thats actually an ipod 2)

idk how you're doing the darkness effect but it seems like its being anti aliased or something. maybe make it a simple circle of darkness. This worked on the Halloween quest on iclassic where you had to find things in the dark.

also I dont understand the points formula. multiplying the damage by speed and adding the hp seems kind of weird(assuming their power increases over time)

if the zombies never get to you the attack doesn't matter.

the more hp the zombies have, the longer it takes them to get to you making speed less depedant.

eventually later adding hp would lose meaning in points awarded compared to the speed and attack bonus.

also wouldn't spamming heals make the game easy? should probably limit the amount of consumable items you can use.

I disabled healing, with the exception of valentine bombs (those take longer to heal; only reason I let it stay).

Their power doesn't increase over time, and I didn't make it multiply by the hp because it's too large of a integer/decimal.

I was considering changing it to a simple circle of darkness, but I don't think it would really add the same effect. I don't believe the darkness was an image, either, I'd have to check again.

Players have already tested it out. We'll just have to wait for the finished product.

Woot. Can't wait. Thank you for what I know is going to be a wonderful event by the way.  

How about you slowly regain healtu naturaly. But very slowly. So it's not just you get pwnd by them undead mamas but you regain health fast so you don't die. But then no heart bombs or anything. Hmmm. Or you could make it so all they have is their guns, melees, and like a few minor healing foods. Just throwing out ideas.

its not just for the effect, but for the challenge right? reduced visibility makes it harder.
