It's really not a matter of if the change is good or bad, it's that people are sent to the forums blatantly lying about why the change was made because the general audience are really young kids who wouldn't even know to question if the cause of this is an "unfixable exploit." I'd respect them 500% more if they just came out and said the change was made so that they can make more money.

The reason it is an unfixable exploit is because the people who abused it will surely have a ton of uploads that they are just waiting to sell for gralats.

Who knows what the future holds though, maybe someone will come along and script a new upload system but personally I feel it should stay the way it is. I don't like glitchers/hackers having an advantage over hardworking players.

Not one IOS Game I play your allowed to refund purchasable content and tbh I felt this feature was flawed from the beginning. So it was corrected.

The only reason a person would want to refund their upload to buy newly released cosmetics is if they were gaining gralats from the refund. If you didn't purchase the uploads and just saved your gralats for newly released cosmetics, you would be able to buy twice as much because when you refund your upload you will only be getting half of your gralats back.

This system wasn't implemented because "other servers did it". It was a group staff decision based on how the refunds go up around holidays, new events etc. Other servers have may of done it first, but it was a change happening on all current Mobile Servers. IClassic was just busy doing other things before they got a chance to update there system.

I read what you typed. I don't think a refund system that's been used for years qualifies as an exploit.

How is it abuse when they’re just making use of a feature the staff PURPOSELY added?

They don’t even gain anything from it because they lose money uploading, nobody just uploads ton of stuff with the intent to refund it when other stuff is released. Some people just have multiple uploads and stop using them, so they refund it to buy something they will use.

That is not abuse or an exploit, if it was removed because you guys no longer support a system where people can freely refund then that’s fine but to say it was to fix an exploit/bug from the start was just a poor move.

There was just miscommunication from the start, and Hoyt made it sound like they were using some sort of illegal game exploit.

I used to refund a lot, all bodies, I uploaded a lot of dumb bodies in the past and would purge them...I don’t mind getting upload tokens cus I wouldn’t refund based around events and I usually just liked getting a lot of gralats toward a new head anyway but the fact that they purposefully misrepresented the situation is gross and obviously I’m in the minority, most players want actual gralats for their refunds and there isnt anything wrong with that, they still paid for the upload and they still only get half back.

It was very clearly worded to make it sound like upload tokens were implemented because of an acual exploit when there was none. It is not an “exploit” or “abuse” to refund bodies for gralats. That’s the way it was designed and the system was fair giving only half back after a short period of time. You make make it sound like players abuse the system or have a bunch of uploads just sitting there “waiting” for the opportunity to refund them...what? They BOUGHT all those uploads and even if they do refund them they still only get half back, there is no exploit or abuse if the system was designed that way. You people are only crabby about thinking you’re making less money and tried to hide it by carefully wording things as if there was an actual exploit issue. If you think people refund a bunch of uploads they originally wanted because they decide they want some holiday hats more than those people probably weren’t going to buy your precious gralat packs either because clearly if they’re scrambling to refund all their uploads that they paid for themselves and only are getting half back for then obviously that is their last resort to get gralats.

Have you ever played iClassic?

It use to be that an hour after uploading your custom you would be allowed a full refund in gralats. At any point after that you would get HALF of what you originally payed. How is that exploitable at all?
Unless there is evidence shown such a glitch or bug existed, we were lied to.

You could not earn a ton of gralats from the old upload system. Spending 20,000 gralats in period A, and refunding for 10,000 gralats in period B is not an earning. It is a loss. This is not a bug or an exploit, it is actually not in the best interest of players to do this, as over time they have lost 10,000 gralats. The developers simply noticed a phenomenon whereby players tend to refund old uploads that they don't use for a quick gralat increase. But this is not unfair or an exploit because again, they are actually losing gralats over time. So, developers realized this and decided to stop players from doing it in order to force them to buy gralat packs instead if they want a quick increase in gralats for an event or something.
