And for the women’s march that happened at ******ia Tech, members from the group Turning Point marched with them and disrespected the march. We could keep going back and forth, but the fact of the matter is that there are people on both sides of the aisle that make both sides look bad. And who cares about gender studies classes? People can take that if they want. Just like people can take religion classes. Or classes on evolution. You may not believe in religion, or you may not believe in evolution, but those classes are still offered. Who cares what classes other people take? And I have no idea what you mean by safe spaces. If you mean an area where people who are LGBTQ can feel safe from discrimination, I see no problem with that. |

Young people leaning left is nothing new, and likely won't change for a long time. As people get older they get more conservative, and this also is likely to stay the same. While it's overblown that college campuses are liberal hellholes, I still find that a lot of them are overwhelmingly left-leaning. I'd guess at the one I'm at now it's probably 80-20 or worse. This isn't the issue. The issue is that if you aren't one of them, you're wrong. If you don't agree with these people, you instantly become "alt-right nutjob #235230998" and all opinions and takes on any matter become void. Very few of these people are willing to hold a legitimate discussion about issues with people they disagree with, and even less are willing to do research and later return to make intelligent debate rather than waving signs at people and yelling. While this behavior exists on the right too, nobody can honestly claim it happens in anywhere near the same volume as it does on the left. |

Kanye West is redpilling I am surprised to see Kanye West leaning more right now and there are way more celebrities that I'm sure that also lean right but don't want to talk about it because of the hate they will get but it's easy being a liberal celebrity and saying these stuff because you won't get attacked for it then. |

I actually had a speaker come in and talk to our college class about micro-aggression's . Was the most ridiculous thing I had to sit through. Nowadays anything you say can offend someone. That's why you should stay away from the media when creating your own political opinions. Most people don't fall on one side or another, but the extremists are always given the spotlight. To some degree you have to argue the other side because if no one does the consensus will be for example "All guns should be banned". On you tube you see all these SJW cringe compilations, and Nazi hate compilations. It's just fueling the flames by giving the crazy extremists the time of day. What I want to say out of this ramble is that the world isn't black and white, most sane people fall in the middle when it comes to being a Democrat and Republican in respect to political beliefs. |

The class was eye opening to some extent, especially with teaching how societal expectations are the cause of all this. Pink used to be the masculine color and blue was feminine, and now it's reversed. Anyways, this is coming from someone who was forced to take this class as my literal only option. I'm also not a fan of the idea of being transgender as I feel that changing your gender is actually an act of conforming to societal expectations by admitting that if you feel a certain way or like certain types of things, then you must be of a certain gender. Guys can wear dresses. Girls can be strong and wear basketball shorts. But really, people need to get over what other people do if their actions don't affect anyone else. |
