It should be wiped every 2 years or so, or at least after every failed hiring like Soren, because the permanent damage one or two bad staff members can do to a player's account is dumb

Yall I done told you that ain't how it works. Those scam alerts mean nothing. Everyone has em. Unsticks don't go on your account. Anything there is legit : )

I haven't mentioned the scam or boost alerts in this thread, that's not what I'm referring to at all, it's the fact that a staff member can take actions against players, get fired, yet the things they've done to players' accounts remain there forever
Seems like a terrible way to further empower someone who has already proven they can't do their job correctly  

Does anyone know a GP who'd be willing to check for me? I mean, you don't know who's a GP these days considering staff list has been removed and showadmins doesn't work. Also the wiki probably hasn't been updated.

A GP has very little control over what shows up in your history. It's mostly all automatic. Any sort of chat or status reset log is done through an automatic system. A GP literally just clicks "reset chat", and they're done. It's automatically stored in history. There's absolutely no way to fake these sort of resets, unless of course you had access to weapons or wherever it's stored, which is something not even the GPA would have.

Any ban have to have one of these automatic resets in there, or if it's an offense such as speedhacking it would need substantial proof. If you appeal a ban and it doesn't have a reset log or a literal video of you speedhacking then it's automatically appealed and removed.

Scam alerts and boost alerts are a system not controlled by staff and are not substantial proof for any sort of punishment.

TL;DR: False history doesn't stay there, because it was never there to begin with.

If you still don't get it, just reply and I'll give you a more blunt explanation.

Any improper bans made by staff will not be held against you when it comes to future bans or applying for a staff position, if that is what your concern is.


And as for the actual topic of this thread, no, no staff are allowed to disclose this. If you can't remember chances are you weren't banned / jailed depending on the time in question.

I got a warning for making a ghost buster reference once... would that count?  

I was once warned for game disruption because I was continuously respawning in the Sards flag room due to lag. I feel like I didn't really deserve a warning for that, they really should have just disconnected me. It should also be noted that I was intentionally not hitting the flag at all while this was going on.

You should've just left sards/reconnected while you still had the chance - instead of carrying on playing after realising you could respawn in the flag room. This would've been very obvious to the staff member that you were abusing this bug/glitch.

But if it only happened for a few seconds, you should've just been warped/disconnected instead of a warn. Non of us here know the full story, but it was their discretion and they were only acting on what they felt was right.  

I was once warned for having "lickle my pickle" in my status which he then reset.
The admin then banned me like 5 minutes after while I didn't even do anything at all after the warning
