I need it as much as I think, both the money and the software. I know this is unethical as a consumer but I don't think the world will mind me acquiring something for free, especially when that something is coming from a rich af corporation that has a thousand other sources of income. They'll be fine in the morning if they get too butthurt.

I'm not able to do what I'm planning to do using free software, and I'm not even experienced with anything that costs money other than Premiere Pro. I'm not going to waste my time with anything else.

I don't think Colin was against you pirating it, but instead was trying to justify the price.  

I download full programs all the time, from a trusted source, i could see if the programs on there and send the link. Idk how big the file is tho so you might be hit with the download waiting thing if its over 1gb

Torrenting is stealing. Just suck it up and shell over the $20; you are taking money from a company that worked hard on that product.

Look into student discounts for Adobe. I am sure that they have some. I pay $5 / month for the creative cloud software.
