When I was young I had my right ear pierced, while I had the piercing I removed it since it looked not-so-good on me.
The process was no ice involved, no pain reliever, just this weird machine gun which has an ear thingy, the piercing wasn't painful just midly irritating, after the procedure of the piercing i recommend using ice after it so it would sooth the mild pain for a while, after an hour or 30 minutes the pain would be gone, atleast for me.
I'm planning on getting pierced this summer again, just to see how it looks on me.

I'm planning on piercing my left ear this weekend. I've never been pierced before so I want to know if it hurts and how to avoid getting an infection. Hearing stories of people getting infections makes me hesitate but I still feel like doing it. If you got a story about a piercing you got I'd like to hear it
