It would be nice if graal had it's own time, sort of like the clock in the Onnet school. A giant clock tower in Onnet Town or something could tell the time too. Then the day/night cycle could be based around what time it is in game.

I've always wanted this, even made a thread about it. Anyways, it would be very nice to have a day/night cycle. Maybe allowing certain types of bugs to only spawn during certain times of the day. Spiders and fireflies for example could spawn at night, whilst all the others spawn during the day. Rain, lightning, wind that pushes players a few times like that gravity effect in destiny. Would be cool. |

Maybe either add a server time or maybe actual time corresponding to time zones so it would be like one dude meets another and he's like "Dude! It's night time on my screen!" And the other dude is like "Its day time on my screen omg!" No? Ok. |

First thing I do when logging on a server is disable day/night. Was initially cute when G2k1 did it but became annoying.

i think it could be really cool to do. like Aguzo said you can base certain things accessible / non-accessible during the day and night. i awlays thought it would be neat to have stores close down during the night, like a little closed sign or something appears on the door. no reason for this, just kinda adds some life to the game

But then there's another problem. It probably wouldn't be able to be client-based because I don't think having buildings open for some and closed for others and this being constantly changing every hour just for some players and all would work very well. If a day/night system would also include changes like shops opening/closing and bugs and stuff being affeced by the time of day, it would probably be better to base it off a central Graal time. If it came with no side effects, only the change in day/night, then maybe client-based time would be fine. Maybe I'm wrong and missing some huge thing that disproves my whole point though but w/e lmao |

Not really a point until it can be implemented in a uniform manner across all platforms(flash is crap) and players can't disable it.
