I wouldn't be surprised to see Sarah/Abood/Shaheen team beat BO, Apostles, or SL, wouldn't be surprised to see Dark/Jose/Tom team beat a few of those either The Silver team probably could too, PCs usually struggle against delay |

iDevice has a higher number of skilled teams, and Mixed has less teams, but they generally have more skill. That's how I see it at least. That being said, my definition of competition would lead me to believe iDevice is more competitive, because there are more teams in the running that are evenly matched in skill, while on Mixed there are a still few, but less. Also there's the fact that Alumni wins all the time. Not saying it's super easy for you guys, but you make it seem that way so it looks like you have no competition, because you always best them. You can predict who will win the Mixed tournament and back it up based on past results. You can't have a very accurate prediction for iDevice, past results vary way too much, because all the teams are close in skill level. Neither are very competitive until the later rounds, ~ QF (top 8) on iDev & ~ SF (top 4) on Mixed, if the bracket is set up in a way to get the top teams there. So I agree on the fact that a single tournament would be better, keep it at 64 teams, and there will still be a good bit of competition later on, probably in or near the round of 16. The rounds of 32 & 64 would exist to give underdog teams a chance to cause upsets and for the possibility of bigger teams going up and one getting knocked out early on. Plus this would mean only one winner, making it more of an accomplishment. |

Looking at poll results, the question might as well be "What client do you use, iDev or PC?" // Anyway, get a 64-team tournament, then I'll say mixed could be equally competitive as iDev gst. |

Just gonna say this and hopefully not regret it. But Alumni are easily the best GST team of all time. I don't care if US won 11 gsts they were held EVERY month, Alumni has had to win 8 gsts which are spaced out between 3 months.

Since this wouldn't be possible anyways as I mentioned above, David could be on both teams if you're just looking at it on paper. |

4 wins with US, 2 wins with Alumni probably would have been more with both if I hadn't randomly gone inactive for many GSTs that they both continued to dominate without me. If you're asking how many times I've lost I don't recall but I'm sure it was at least 2.
