Wtf, why would you waste your money doing that?

Its not like you have a problem or anything, there's tons of people out there who aren't very good in conversations, including me.

Its really just a confidence issue if you ask me.

If you put yourself down during a conversation then of course you're not going to be good at making them.  

Most people are awkward in conversations unless you're comfortable around the person or you have something specific to talk about.
Try and talk to the person when you've both been involved in something and chat about it, it should loosen you up and you'll probably become friends if you're interesting enough.  

Observe how others verbally communicate and try to replicate it at 80%

Nope, those filthy sinners are going to burn. No point in chattin them up.  

Talk to people like you've known them all your life. This can help you relax and not be so nervous when you go to talk to them.  

Just start polite and if they seem nice then here's some conversation starters:
-Did you do anything over the weekend?
-What kind of music do you listen to?
-Anything new?
-What classes are you taking? (if you're in school)

If you see someone who's nice then you can start waving to them and your confidence will boost up, don't be afraid to say what's on your mind, no one is going to record it.

If you get nervous from making eye contact, try looking at their nose, they won't know the difference

I'm not sure what you're implying, but I never said anything of the sort. Gluttons, however, like to take take take—and break your boundaries. So, if you wanna go judging people as burning in hell that's your ****ing decision

Those are boring. With all those questions people will feel like they're in an interview. Everyone says "Ask them questions because people love talking about themselves". Even if that's true people also like listening to others. Look around your environment and start conversation on what you see. If you're in the same place its more than likely you two have a reason for being there.

Well a conversation is a conversation.

Sure, people love to talk about themselves but I don't really see how that's entirely a bad thing. You learn a lot about the person and depending on whether they're genuinely interesting people, you may enjoy that conversation a lot.

If you're talking about yourself be sure to ask about them as well because you don't want the conversation to be just about you.

But if you really have to go somewhere for help then perhaps a hypnotist will work? I don't know if they will be cheaper but someone told me to go to one for my fear of flying...but i ain't going to one of them things.
You should really just talk to people about what's going on. At the very first stage of making friends you wont want to talk about like videogames or something...what if videogames bore them? You need to learn about them first...but don't be awkward...that's certainly the worst thing to do.

The problem with the people its the beginning of the conversation , you should at first try to be not ashamed or being shy in face of the other people . They're human as you are , nevertheless there will be alway people that will be judging you stay strong..
Im sure that there is someone or some people that you think that's will be interesting to talk , try to learn the world around you and the news to start the discution .
The most opportunate moment if you are studying its the sport class , at this moment try to force yourself to talk with the people around . the people will be easier openened for a discution with each other .
Maybe the clothes , idk how ya style is . try to convince yourself to go to shopping and change your style . We are in a world where the appearance is the the basic point of the jugdment , someone with nice clothes and neat will be easier accessible than a dirty Weab or geek..
and my last advice , its not the number of the friend that you have its the quality of those , you ought choose wisely your first friend(s)
