I got a better answer that everyone will agree with... TRADING SYSTEM /w a small fee, and account/guild locked gates.. (the second one is a ez script, first alittle bit harder but can be done)

thats not for scam but for protect items from players that exit to era when are in your house and when they enter can take your items

Kick them, close (G)House, bump furnitures infront of them or just don´t let any players in it. I use an extra room in my guild house just for items. Won´t let any players let into that room (don´t invite any anyway). You can also just put them into your House (if you have a GHouse) since you probably won´t invite friends to there.
