https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/mechanical_switches.php Not sure how accurate it is though. This is a good read: http://www.keyboardco.com/blog/index...ical-switches/ |

Blue has that "click" sound that makes you sure that your button press has been registered. Brown has a little bit more feedback than the other switches,it's mostly used by gamers. |

Not necessarily a faster feedback, but they reduce the distance your key travels when you press it down fully. It still registers the key press at the same distance, but if you always seem to bottom-out, it will be a bit easier to move from one key to the next. If I had to describe the comparison to stock keys, the o-ring mod makes it feel more fluid IMO.

I think for what they offer they aren't worth the price. Another thing I don't like is that they are marketed as being essential for that comfortable quick response and whatnot but I've tried membrane and mechanical and I think that it's not worth the extra 60-100$ for what they offer. I don't see how it is dumb to consider it to be overpriced or overrated. Out of experience they are a bit of a gimmick for me. If I offended you or something I'm sorry because you seem to like them quite a lot ![]() |
